Carrier Guidance
The Career Guidance Cell (CGC) is an initiative of the Alumnae Association of Sree Sastha Arts & Science College, It offers extensive training programmes, choices for post-secondary education, internships, and full-time employment for undergraduate and graduate students.
Vision and Mission
To offer a one-of-a-kind career counselling framework, as well as a helpful recruitment atmosphere that is both student and industry friendly.Training and webinars will be used to create opportunities for multiple roles.
Code of Manner
Excellence, learnability, academic excellence, and, most importantly, ethics are all crucial.
The Cell's Objectives
• To introduce students to the culture of global businesses.
• To raise knowledge of the expectations of organisations from young talent
• To make available information on employment, positions, and possibilities.
• Organise workshops, seminars, and special events to help students with career preparation.
• To provide job opportunities and establish corporate collaborations in order to facilitate on- and off-campus recruitments.
• Improving services through new technology, programme creation, and ongoing resource updating
Campus Recruitment: 2022
In the previous academic year, 50% of our students who registered for campus recruiting were hired by different companies. Deloitte, ICICi, Barclays, World Bank, Wipro,Cognizant Technology Solutions, Natwest,Zoho, Zifo RnD, Verizon, Google, TNQ, Scientific Publishing, and NTrust, among others, have hired our students.
Recruitment Process
Every year, before the recruitment process begins, the following training programmes are held:
Training
The above two were completed through the CGC.
Companies conduct the Aptitude Test.
Group Discussions/Presentations/Case Studies (online/paper and pen).
HR Interviews/Technical Interviews.
Students' backgrounds are being checked.
Offers are being distributed.
