A Wide Range of Laboratories
Sree Sastha Arts & Science College takes great pleasure in pairing each unique course with its corresponding need-based lab. These labs are equipped with the most recent technology and equipment, have an uninterrupted power supply, and are staffed by a competent lab technician to provide assistance to students.
Computer Lab
This lab ensures that our computer-related course runs well. The college is outfitted with high-tech computers, housing over 100 PCs with LAN and internet services via wireless connectivity for quick access at any time. LCD projection systems, hardware and software, printers, scanners, photocopiers, and other equipment are available at the lab.
Chemistry / Biochemistry Lab
These labs support the Home Science department's practical sessions.
Graphics Lab
These are the components of the Visual Communication department, and they let students open their creative vistas and put on their thinking cap.
Infrastructure
The administrative and faculty offices are well-equipped with cutting-edge technology such as voice-over-IP telephony, computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers. The Administrative Officer is in charge of the department that handles Student Service, Human Resources Recruitment, Purchase, Dispatch, and all formal correspondences with regulatory authorities such as Madras University, UGC, and so on. Identity cards, genuine credentials, bus permits, fee queries, scholarships, medical situations, and other problems may be addressed at the office.
Instructional Spaces
Students have access to the internet, a video projector, an overhead projector, speakers, and whiteboards in large, well-equipped classrooms.
Digitalized Library
The library has an audio-visual language lab and is quite distinctive in its own right. It has more than 3,000 books with a variety of topics and titles, reference volumes, and reputable print and online magazines. The library provides ten computers with high-speed internet access to make learning enjoyable. We urge our pupils to use search engines to browse the internet and obtain up-to-date information.
Transport
The College has buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighbourhood areas to the College and back home. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the College. Besides the regularly scheduled trips, the facility is extended for occasions like after the College hour Special Coaching classes, Placements, and Training, Visit Local Industries, hospitals, NSS Camps, etc.
Hostel
We guarantee the convenience and safety of our students by providing them with separate hostel accommodations. The hostel mess provides wholesome, home-cooked meals for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Their convenience is increased by the on-site ATM, and round-the-clock security ensures their protection.
